Welcome to Helpful Hooves, offering Equine Assisted Services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and participation in our equine programs, services, and activities. By signing up for or participating in any Equine Assisted Services, you agree to comply with these Terms. We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these Terms at any time, and any such changes will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

3. Services Offered

We provide a variety of Equine Assisted Services, including but not limited to:

Equine Assisted Therapy: Therapeutic services involving horses for physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Equine-Assisted Learning: Programs designed for personal development, team building, or skill enhancement.

Other Programs: including holiday clubs and activity days.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure safety and maximize the benefits of our services, you agree to:

Follow Instructor or Facilitator Guidance: Clients must follow the instructions of our qualified instructors or facilitators during all sessions.

Health & Safety: Ensure that you are physically and mentally fit for participation. If you have any health conditions or concerns (e.g., allergies, injuries), it is your responsibility to disclose them prior to participation.

Safety Gear: Clients are required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. 

Behavior: Clients must behave in a respectful and safe manner toward the horses, staff, and other participants at all times.

5. Risks and Liability

Equine Assisted Services inherently carry some risks, including but not limited to:

Physical Injury: Horses are large animals, and activities involving them carry inherent risks of injury.

Emotional Impact: Activities such as therapy may evoke strong emotional responses.

Accidents and Incidents: While we take every precaution, accidents can occur due to the nature of working with horses and animals.

By engaging in our services, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree that Helpful Hooves, its employees, agents, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur during your participation in our services, except where required by law.

6. Medical Waiver & Health Disclosure

Before participating in any services, clients must complete a Health Disclosure Form and a Medical Waiver acknowledging any health conditions that could impact their ability to safely participate in equine-assisted activities.

If at any time you experience a change in your health condition, you agree to inform us immediately to reassess your suitability for our services.

7. Payment and Fees

Pricing: The fees for services are outlined on our website or provided to you upon inquiry. Fees are subject to change, and we will notify you of any price adjustments in advance.

Payment: Payments are due at the time of booking or as specified in your service agreement. We accept [list payment methods, e.g., credit cards, bank transfers, etc.].

Cancellation & Refunds: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a 100% fee.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any personal information you provide (e.g., medical history, contact details) will only be used for the purposes of providing services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. 9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your participation in any of our services if:

You violate any of these Terms.

You display unsafe behavior that could harm yourself, others, or the horses.

We are unable to provide the services due to factors outside our control (e.g., adverse weather, horse health issues).

Termination will not entitle you to a refund unless otherwise specified.

10. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Helpful Hooves, including website materials, photos, videos, training materials, and program descriptions, is the intellectual property of the company and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or alter any content without express permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cornwall.
