Supporting schools through alternative provision

At Hooves, we understand that every child learns differently — and that sometimes, a traditional classroom environment isn’t the right fit. That’s why we’re proud to work in partnership with local schools to provide alternative provision that helps young people re-engage with learning, build confidence, and thrive.

Through hands-on experiences with our horses and outdoor environment, students develop essential life skills such as communication, emotional regulation, responsibility, and teamwork. Our tailored sessions offer a safe, calm space where learners can reconnect with themselves and others, supported by our experienced and compassionate team.

We work closely with schools, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create individualised programmes that meet each student’s unique needs and align with educational goals. Whether a pupil requires short-term intervention, part-time provision, or ongoing support, Hooves offers a flexible, nurturing environment designed to promote personal growth and wellbeing.

Together with local educators, we’re helping to make education more inclusive,
